Laboratory Exercises
Which labs are to be used and in what order may vary semester to semester. Your TA will instruct you which lab to print for the following week. While external and internal morphology appear as one lab, they are sometimes taught in two separate labs. In that case, the same lab printout will be used for both.
New Policy on Collecting Equipment: You will be issued insect collecting and curation equipment in lab. We have had increasing problems getting this equipment returned, and it is expensive to replace. This semester, you will NOT be allowed to submit your final insect collection in lab unless 100% of your collecting equipment is returned AT THE SAME TIME. You will get a 0 on your final collection and a minimum two letter grade reduction in your lab grade if you do not turn in your equipment. There will be no acceptable excuses for not following this policy.
